New Job For Navy Career Man

December 21st, 2009

Having just retired from the US Navy after serving for 22 years in the field of electronics, the transition of civilian life was not as smooth as our family had counted on.  There were no jobs available in my chosen field of education but an opportunity came along to work in instrumentation training for a major company.  As this industry was moving into outfitting employees with the hand-held interfaces, there was the need for an instructor to travel to the local sites and do hands-on demonstrations.  This provided me with the employment that I needed as well as the opportunity to travel into many areas of our country.
