Friend in need is a friend in deed

I had always heard about the saying that a friend in need is a friend indeed but I understood its actual meaning on the prom night of our college. I was too worried because Sam had left me and now had an affair with Amanda. My best friend, Laura and I had tried many things just to know the answer to How To Win Your Ex Back? All went in vain. The college had finished, we just had to attend the prom night. Finding it the last chance Laura had some plans for bringing Sam back. She dressed me in a beautiful dress with matching ear rings and sandals. Guess what, this worked and my Sam is back. Thanks Laura.
