A Mother’s Advice

I have three sons, and as they grew into young men they asked me, “Mom tell me how to talk to women.” I would first tell them that even though women and men think differently and act differently, women are human beings just like men. They have the same basic needs, the need to be included as friends, the need to communicate and the desire to have fun. If you treat a woman like she was your buddy, she’ll respond in kind. When you want to ask her out on a date, ask her if she likes to go hiking or if she likes Italian food. Find out what she likes and use that to be your bond with her. Most of all, respect her the way you would like to be respected. But you have to open your mouth and talk to her first.
