I couldn’t think of a better way to spend my vacation than fly fishing in taupo so I made the plans and booked it in. I’m not so sure how happy my other half is about it but I’m sure she will find something to keep herself entertained, like the shops in town. I have always been a very keen angler and I have fished many places around the world, but I still think that the great lake is one of the best spots on the planet, especially if you’re chasing rainbow or brown trout. So anyway, that will be me, in some of the back streams around the farm land of the central north island.
