There was a time when you had to manually generate and enter all your passwords on websites and software you wanted to access. This process was very slow and dull. Today thanks to password generators you can have the most secure password in the world generated faster than you can read this last word. I discovered this with my NTL login. How does it work? First you choose the password parameters such as the using just characters or a combination of letters, numbers and symbols and you can also pick the size of the password. The ultimate password is several thousand characters long and uses all kinds of characters including symbols but a fourteen character long password is good enough for your everyday life. This password generator can become a problem if you do not save the generated passwords in a safe place. Just imagine what would happen if you save them in a text file and some remotely has full access to it.
