Golf History Remains Popular

There are plenty of people who will spend the afternoon playing a game of golf and this has been the situation for many years indeed. The fact is that golf is a very old game in itself which has been around far longer than may other modern day sports. Just why the game has remained so very popular is somewhat of a mystery but then again those who do play the game will find this quite easy to believe. If you ever read about a brief golf history then you will likely be very amused at some of the rather far fetched events which have led to the modern incarnation of the game of golf. Be prepared for some significant turns of events as well but in the end it is still one of the most popular games in the world today.
