To select the right colors for your beautiful home it is better to select the colors of the fabrics, rugs and wall paper first. That is because, firstly, the paint color can be easily changed without much hassle and, secondly, paint is the least expensive design element. Study the color strips well and try to imagine your room painted in various shades. You can go the traditional way to select the wall color from the print fabric that you are working with. The color of the print background will give you an idea of the wall color Normally, door and windows are given a white or an off white color. Another fabulous idea would be to have a light shade for the walls and darker shades for trims. The paint finish is also important since the finishes like matte can hide wall imperfections.
