Good Content Is Not Enough!

Too many SEO or anti-SEO blogs claim that all you need is good content. Wrong! These people are harming small business owners that don’t know any better. You need to build traffic to good content before good content gets traffic, it’s perpetual. Don’t be fooled by a web design company that doesn’t know search optimization or marketing. You will need to build links to your website using old fashioned techniques like link-begging, or social media and email campaigns. Beg your friends, family, and neighbors to link to your website. Search out relevant directories and apply for inclusion. Find websites that allow guest blogging and submit a post for review. Write articles and get them syndicated. It’s all out there just waiting for you but it is time consuming. It is the only option for those of you with little or no budget.
