December 22nd, 2011

How can you qualify for Medicare in Alaska when under 65? First of all, Medicare is a social security benefit that is catered to the well-being of seniors, individuals with disabilities, and other special cases to be reviewed by the US federal government. In Alaska, in order to qualify for Medicare under the age of 65 you have to have some kind of disability or condition. The most prevalent condition is that must be a disabled beneficiary for at least 2 years before you are eligible enough for a Medicare. Any of these cases are also eligible for Medicare enrollment: disabled widow under the age of 65, disabled child. In which case, they still have to follow a 2-year waiting period.
