Company is About to Close Its Doors

I was in a state of panic when I was informed that the company I work for will be closing down in about 30 days. This was not very much time to reorganize my financial life or to find new Health Insurance. This was my first job and at the age of 24 I really do not know much about living without a paycheck. I called my parents and asked them what to do. They were very calm about the situation and told me to find a temporary policy that will tie me over until I find another job with benefits.
