Braided Rugs – Treasures At The Flea Market

December 3rd, 2009

I was at the flea market last Sunday and was strolling through the rows and rows of trinket sellers and jewelry makers and came across this old lady sitting at a very colorful stall. She had on display some of the most beautiful braided rugs I have ever seen. There were so many rugs, round, and oval shaped. And they were in so many color combinations too. I especially liked the ones with red hues. Red and orange, that would look really great for Thanksgiving! I was spoilt for choice and wanted to get more than 10 pieces, but of course, I couldn’t. Not with my husband standing there anyway. So, I ended buying three. Maybe I’ll go see her again this weekend and get more.
