We have them engage in physical activities like play which will develop their physical strength, alertness and stamina. It is our belief at Addison Texas Daycare that not only should our students be exposed to academic matters but also to develop their physical and creative prowess at these early years. Their outdoor exposure is a helpful educational tool that we strongly recommend for them to have a balance of activities, both indoor and outdoor. With these physical activities, their mental development is also enhanced because they get to be thinking creative, likewise to be thinking critically of strategies to reach their goals. A mental exercise is also practiced while at play because these children are taught to concentrate and be focused. Since they interact with other children, their inter-personal skills are developed as well. Their health is likewise addressed because they are taught to be mobile and active to prevent obesity that could develop from such a young age.
