Two Types of Truck Ramps

If you are in the market for truck loading ramps, you should know that there are basically two different types. The first type is a steel ramp, which is the heavier duty of the two. These ramps include numerous safety features such as curbs, grating, chains, and a lip that overlaps fifteen inches. In addition, they can be fitted with hand rails to make them even safer. The second type is an aluminum ramp. It is lighter and cheaper than a steel one, but it is still safe due to included safety chains. Like steel ramps, aluminum ramps can hold up to 30,000 pounds.
