The Components Used In Creating Wickless Candles
May 12th, 2010
The most common supplies used as the major component in candles are the waxes. In addition, a candle formulation can contain stearic acid which is added for the purpose of hardening the candle composition, raising the bending point, and lowering the melting point. Moreover, the waxes and stearic acid candle formulations usually being used at present can contain a suitable amount of other additives such as antioxidants and any other components normally used by those skilled in the art of formulating candle wax compositions. The latter category includes such components as re-odorants, dyes and non-wax like materials which produce a particular burning effect in Wickless Candles.
