Learning About Hindu Cremations

I never considered the idea that people who practice religions other than Christianity have different death rituals. Recently, a friend and I were talking about this subject and exploring what we knew about different religions and sharing our knowledge with each other. After having the usual discussion about caskets and burying people in the ground, the conversation turned to cremation. I wondered what a Hindu Cremation Dallas would be like, thinking that perhaps they would have different beliefs than other religions. We did some research and found that Hindus do open air cremations which allow the deceased to easily pass to the other world.
