Where Can I Get Information on How to Quit Smoking?

I really need to quit smoking. I hate always smelling like cigarettes, and since none of my friends smoke I always have to leave them behind when I go to smoke. Can anyone tell me where I can go in order to get information on how to quit smoking? I need some help since I know I can’t do it all by myself. I tried to go cold turkey once and didn’t even last a whole day before I gave in and started smoking again. I am wondering if I should try the gum or the patch or something like that.
