If you are suffering from diabetes, then your diet is of crucial importance. While the right diet can help keep your diabetes in control, a wrong diet could aggravate the problem even the further.
The ideal diabetes diet should contain all nutrients in a well balanced manner. Sugar is of course a strict no-no if you are suffering from diabetes. But you should also emphasize on the carbohydrates in your diet if you are suffering from diabetes.
Try to avoid Trans fats and hydrogenated fats to the maximum possible as they are not good for your health. Proteins are a good thing for diabetics but they should make up only for 15 to 20% of the entire diet.
Keep these diet tips in mind and you will be able to cope with diabetes successfully.
