Fats are always considered bad for weight loss. However, not all fats are just as bad. There are some fats like coconut oil that can actually help keep extra pounds at bay.

Unlike other fats such as butter and margarine that get deposited on the walls of arteries and are much difficult to burn, coconut oil flows freely in the body. It does not get deposited which makes it easier for the body to burn the fat. Also, coconut oil is much easier to digest so it does not contribute to weight gain.
