Celaic Disease & What Can Be Done

January 27th, 2010

Unfortunately celiac disease can affect adults and children alike and if a family member has the disease then other family members are 5 – 15% likely to also get the disease. It is foods that have a high content of gluten, such as cereals and pasta that can trigger the disease. Celiac Disease symptoms include severe stomach pains, skin rash, anaemia, upset stomach and diarrhoea and it is imperative to treat the disease from as early on as possible before damage to the inner lining occurs.Simply cutting out foods in your diet, which have a gluten content, should see an immediate positive effect.
