Barefoot running

Running is considered the cheapest way to get fit- why, you only have to buy a pair of running shoes! On the other hand, there is a very strong and developing barefoot running movement which has an ideal that it is more natural to run barefoot and considers the use of running shoes the main reason why running injuries are getting more common these days. Whatever the promoters say, there is still no evidence to show that running barefoot is clinically better than running with a good pair of running shoes. Nevertheless, barefoot running is something that should be done by those who can tolerate it.
