Who introduce MASS foot orthotics?

A recently concept introduced by a podiatrists and foot orthotic lab owner Dr Ed Glaser DPM is the MASS foot orthotics. Maximum arch subtalar supination is what MASS stands for and is a position of the foot that turns the foot outwards at the ankle (supinates the foot). To hold the foot in this position is the aim of the foot orthotics according to MASS theory and provided by Sole Supports Inc. Then a foam casting box is used to get this position. The patient is sitting and then there foot is pushed into the foam with the rearfoot supinated and the medial side of the forefoot on the ground.
