There are many benefits available to veterans, but there are frequently delays in processing these types of claims. The V.A. offers veterans benefits in the form of several types of loans and loan guarantees to help veterans buy or refinance a home or condominium. By providing 100% financing, the program allows those who have not had a chance to save any money the opportunity to purchase a home. This benefit allows people to use the money they would otherwise spend on a down payment however they see fit – whether it be for renovations, to start a savings account or just to help cover every day expenses. There are several veterans benefits payable to a deceased veteran’s surviving spouse. One benefit is also available for the surviving, low-income parents of certain veterans.
