Treat Your Body to the Proper Nutrients

During a vacation at a health spa, I discovered about the amazing potassium health benefits. Potassium is a mineral in our body that helps us function properly. With sufficient amounts in the diet, it keeps muscles strong, lowers blood pressure and hypoglycemia. Proper potassium levels also increase bladder and kidney function to help urination which rids the body of toxins and sodium. We need about two to threes thousand milligrams in our diet daily to keep potassium levels at a healthy balance. There are about four hundred milligrams in a service of potatoes, cantaloupe, Lima beans or fresh orange juice. It is easy to stay healthy and balanced with the proper amount of potassium in our diets.
