Going Green and Healthy at the Hospital
July 11th, 2010
The hospital where my wife works is very progressive. Nowhere in the hospital, even in the cafeteria, can a soda or bag of potato chips be purchased. Every single item sold in the cafeteria is healthy and unprocessed. The hospital recently leased space to a health foods and supplements store on the ground level and it has become very popular. All of the power that is needed to run the hospital is created from a field of solar panels. The hospital’s focus on health, wellness, and being environmentally conscious has spilled over to the employees. We are making many of these changes in our home now too.
