Changes In CPT Codes For 2012

As a medical billing professional, it’s important that I stay up to date on the cpt (Current Procedural Terminology) codes that are used in medical billing. At the start of a new year, there are usually additions and deletions to the acceptable billing codes. This year I have to be sure I’m up to date on the new cpt codes for 2012. Fortunately, it’s not hard to do. One way to do this is by purchasing medical coding software that will insert the newest codes into the insurance claims I’m currently billing.
