An advantage for single proprietorship investments is the effectiveness of motivation, as the individual works solely for himself. This means any benefits of such endeavor in the way of profits will belong entirely to him.
There is no sharing of such profits from the business or FTSE stock market with anyone and he need not obtain the consent of anyone for any action that he may take. For this reason, he will probably work harder, longer, and more effectively than if he operated under any other type of business organization.
However, if it were a partnership investment, all the results of the endeavor would be shared by someone else.
