Nerd to the Rescue

My roommate was having one of his loud days, so I took my work down to the student center, which, believe it or not, was a few decibels quieter. At least it was quieter until a student a few tables over started making sounds that I wouldn’t call “happy.” I couldn’t help it. I looked over. Eyes filled with despair met mine. “I think I have a computer virus,” she said, and a few words about a report due and the end of the world, I think. I moved over and straightened her computer out. And then showed her my own favorite antivirus firewall software. What are nerds for?
