Getting Your Free Credit Reports

There are seven states in the United States of America wherein you can get a yearly credit reports for free under state law, on top of the free reports obtainable under federal law. These states include: Georgia (in Georgia you can get two free reports each year), Colorado, Vermont, Maine, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Maryland. If you reside in any of these states, make sure you get the two free reports each year under the state and federal law – allowing you to monitor your account much more effectively on a regular basis. This will be enough to look after your account at the same time avoiding identity theft. Always have an identity theft protection to protect yourself from fraud.
