It is my responsibility to cover stories about financial opportunities for a local magazine. I have done over 100 stories this year on different financial companies. I love learning more about financial news, and what different companies have to offer. I probably research a company for about 10 hours before I write my story. I try to write my stories from an informational standpoint. I want to give people the most information in the shortest amount of time. My assignment this week is covering a story about forex trading. I have researched their website and have some interviews set up with people in the business. I have a couple good quotes, but am still in the research process.

After I graduated from college, I decided that I wanted to open my own business. I had a business degree and felt that I had what it would take to run my own store. I was going to specialize in selling vintage jewelry. My main focus would be women’s jewelry, along with some men’s items. My best friend was a marketing major and looking to start her career. I decided to offer her a job working as my NICHE MARKETING director. I wanted her to advertise my business and let everyone know what I was selling. She did a great marketing campaign that really helped my opening day be a huge success.

I need a home shredder in order to get rid of all the old papers I have laying around with personal information on them. I have old tax records that need to be disposed of, old checkbooks from accounts that I have closed, and numerous credit card statements from old and current accounts. I need to go ahead and bite the bullet and get rid of all of this paper. Some of these items should have been thrown away years ago. Of course, I did not want the papers to get into the wrong hands, and I still have not taken care of them.

My brother was in rehab a little over two years ago. My parents had divorced by that point, and my mom was living closest to the rehab center. One day, she drove to see him to take him some toiletries. She had her hands full of the items, and as she sauntered up the steps to the center, she stumbled and lay sprawled across the porch.
