Pros and Cons

I have a few friends who have rig jobs. It seems like the hardest job in the world. Offshore rigs are pummeled by the weather, like the hurricanes. The cold weather plays a part n the breakdowns, that all the guys have to be out in. The sheer fact that you are miles from shore, away from people, is intimidating to me. These guys have been doing this work for so long that they are used to the long periods spent out on a fig. I think I would be scared to death, with no emergency medical care, what if I were to get hurt?
