Make Up for Past Insulation Mistakes

We bought a house that we thought was a great bargain. It turned out not to be so much of a bargain because of how poorly insulated it was overall. That first heating season that we spent in the house was an expensive lesson. As soon as we figured out all of the problem areas we began the task to retrofit insulation into the house. For some spots it was just a small space that was uninsulated, but even small gaps in insulation can cause you to lose a lot of heat. This coming year, we expect to stay a lot warmer for less money.
