Entry-level jobs are available to those candidates with little or no experience, but which provide training and prospect of future advancement. Entry-level healthcare employers include hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living centers, private clinics, healthcare service companies etc. It is the responsibility of an entry-level candidate to work under supervision and perform a variety of assigned tasks in sales, patient care and administration. Entry-level candidates may perform a wide range of activities depending on their areas of specialization like performing daily operational duties, providing quality products and services to patients, assisting sales staff in prospecting new business, assisting in medical record keeping and billing documentation and assisting with patient care and administration of medicines. To apply for an entry-level job in the healthcare field, a bachelor’s degree is preferred. An ideal candidate should exhibit a desire to learn new skills, should be willing to participate in training programs and must be wiling to start his career at entry-level management.
