Encouraging With Trophies
September 3rd, 2010
I find that trophies are a great way to encourage kids, even when they don’t win a game. I like to look for something that each individual child really put their heart into each season, and then have a trophy made that acknowledges their efforts. It gives them a token to remember their time with the team by, and it also gives them some encouragement to keep working on developing their best qualities. Giving a child that kind of positive feedback is well worth the time and expense that is involved. It’s also a great way to be sure that they’ll remember the season fondly and want to come back next year!
