Last year I got a new boss at work, and she is someone who had been promoted because of who she knew, not what she was capable of. From her first day on the job, she treated me differently than the other employees in my department, and she fired me for a bogus reason a few months later. I tried to appeal to human resources, but there was nothing I could do. I decided to hire a Colorado Lawyer, and he got right to the bottom of what had transpired. I ended up getting a very nice settlement package, and now I have a great new job.

Visiting the USS Lexington in South Texas is one of the really cool things to do! It is in Corpus Chiristi and is a World War two – era aircraft with several additional airplanes on deck. You can take a self-guided tour through the ship. You can even take pictures with some of the battle tanks. pete’s wicked travels talks about him also taking a picture with a retired world war veteran. It is very educational, and it gives you a good perspective of what are armed forces do for our country. You do want to be sure and wear comfortable shoes because there are lots of stairs to climb and there will be a lot of walking. It also gets very hot in south Texas so you may want to lather on the sunscreen and be prepared to wear a hat. There is so much to see you will want to prepare to be there for at least several hours. The first time I went, I also saw Ben Aflack, because they were filming parts of Pearl Harbor aboard the USS Lexington.

I am going to the chapel and I am going to get married! My sister is going to be my maid of honor. She is planning a wonderful shower for the wedding. I have registered at several different department stores and the invitations have been mailed. Thankfully she has decided to have the event catered with Jersey City catering. There is so much to do, dress fittings, planning, florist, and many other things that must be done properly in order to have a flawless shower and wedding. The food I know will be wonderful. A little strawberries and wine is going to be included as well.

I have been using Home Composting Bins for many years. I have layered and mixed and done all the things your are supposed to do. The one thing I didn’t like dealing with was the smell. I moved the bin to a spot farther from the house. But the best thing I did was add earthworms. My Father likes to fish so any worms he didn’t use, I put in the pile. It has made a world of difference. Not only does the compost turn to soil quicker and the smell is a lot less. Plus the fact that Dad has unlimited red wigglers for fishing. It’s a win-win situation.
