Our company is holding its Christmas party this Saturday. Everybody is already excited and looking forward to the eighties themed party because everybody will be in his or her eighties costume. There will be a fat prize for the best in costume, so I am just as crazy as everyone else to dress up and win the award. I am also looking forward for the company’s personalised GIFTS to be given to everyone as its Christmas give away. Last year, we had an organizer and a bag, and I hope this year it will be something better, nicer and also usable at work.

Since I have separated from my husband and am a single parent, I am noticing that one of the biggest disadvantages of single parenting is the fact that I do not have as much money as I used to have. This is because I was a stay at home mom and relied on my husband to provide for my family and was used to the standard of living that he was able to provide for us. Now that I am out on my own, I have gotten a job, my own place, my own car, and while I have had to make adjustments in my spending, I am happier than I have ever been and am hoping that my children are going to be happy as well.

When my parents finally decided to buy a laptop, they had no idea how to setup wireless network for laptop. My husband knows a lot about computers, so they called him to come over and help them. He was able to get them up and running in about an hour, which surprised them. He explained everything that he was doing while he was doing it in case they ever needed to do it again. My parents were surprised to see that it was not difficult at all. They are really enjoying the new laptop and are grateful that my husband set it up so quickly.
